Akira, a grieving mother in her 40s, tries to cope with the death of her 17-year-old son Michael. Partner to her late husband and family friend, Detective Jim Gold checks in on Akira to see how she is doing and tries to encourage her to get out and get some fresh air instead of staying holed up in the house. Akira takes his advice and goes to the basketball court where she and Michael spent a lot of time together. She starts to feel better but that quickly changes when she notices a group of young boys engaging in criminal activities. Akira, fueled with rage from knowing that one of them killed her son, is driven to start planning her revenge. Will she find out the real reason behind her son’s death, and will justice be served?
